【Overview】

With the mission of "helping more business people to be active in the world", we are a growing venture company developing online English conversation business and job search platform for foreign IT engineers . We are actively expanding our existing business and taking on the challenge of new business. We are looking for people who have the mindset of wanting to scale the service together!

【Team】

Team composition: 40 members (30 members in the Philippines/10 members in Japan office)

There are 10 engineers working in Japan, 7 of engineers are foreign nationals, and there are phases in which both English and Japanese are used.

◆Service design and programming related to web service operation

You will be responsible for overall development work from service planning/design to actual coding. This is still a developing service, so you may be asked to proactively plan and propose the introduction of new technologies such as AI and VR in the future!

【Development environment】
・Main languages: PHP and other LL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL
・OS: Linux, Mac OS X, Windows
・Database: MySQL (Amazon Aurora)
・Other tools: GitHub, Jira, Confluence, slack, AWS, etc.

【Development method】
・They use Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall as appropriate for each project and target service.

【Requirements】

Experience in developing some kind of program by one person
English language skills
Experience in web application development using PHP, JavaScript, SQL

②First interview(Engineer Manager)

We’ll check what is written on the resume, and are looking for a cultural fit and go in depth into tech.

③Personality assessment web test

You’ll take assessment on the Web before the Final discussion with the CEO.

④Final interview

You’ll speak with the CEO.

【Work Environment】

・Location：Tokyo ※Partial remote

・Working Hours：Core time 10:00-17:00 and flex time (8 hours of actual work) 

・Primary Language：Uses Japanese and English as their primary language.

・International employees：open to diversity and global. Some of the engineers are from outside Japan.
