Cloud Infrastructure Engineer [Kyoto/Osaka]

Future Spirits is an IT venture company in Kyoto established in 2000, and has been offering system development, cloud solutions and infrastructure services for over 20 years.

Strengths of Future Spirits provides managed server services using its own data centers and cloud infrastructure such as AWS and GCP and also has businesses in Malaysia, Thailand and China. Some of the engineers are from outside Japan such as the United States, France, Indonesia and Myanmar and more.

If you want to work in the Kansai area such as Kyoto or Osaka as an infrastructure engineer and if you are willing to take on the challenge of new services and technologies, you may fit the culture.

Due to an increase in cloud projects, we are looking for engineers with knowledge of AWS services and experience in building and operating them.

【Responsibilities】

The work you will be in charge of will mainly be customer proposals, infrastructure design, construction, and operation using AWS and your own infrastructure. Utilizing technical knowledge and experience, you will be in charge of proposing and designing the optimal configuration to solve the customer's issues and requests, building after receiving an order, and operation.

Cloud services are updated on a daily basis, so the ability to constantly collect information on your own and actively work on new services and technologies is required.

In addition, in addition to working closely with our engineers and sales, it is necessary to attend technical meetings with customers as necessary, and to communicate with customers regarding technical support. We are looking for someone who can communicate smoothly both inside and outside the company.

【Requirements】

・3+ years experience in building and operating Linux servers

・Experience building and operating AWS services

・Experience building and operating Linux servers and middleware

・Experience creating operation tools with Script languages

・Basic understanding of networks

【Work Environment】

・Location：Kyoto

・Work Style：Future Spirits support flexible work options and employees can work from either home or office depending on the task. Most employees live within commuting distance of their designated office and work as Partial Remote.

・Working Hours：9:30-18:30 (8 hours of actual work) Average monthly overtime: approximately 20 hours per month

・Primary Language：Future Spirits uses Japanese as their primary language.
